Overview

  • Eligible Applicants: Newly admitted students who have not received any other scholarships from the Taiwan government, and current international students enrolled in NTUE.
  • Award Funding Period: September 2026 – August 2027
  • Award Value & Quota: NTD 4,000 – 6,000 per month / per person. The total number of recipients is subject to annual budget allocation.

For Students Applying for 2026 Admission

Choose "Yes" in the scholarship field when submitting your application for admission online via the system below:

For Current Students in NTUE

Please submit the following hard-copy documents (refer to the application form for more details):

  • Application Form (國外學生修讀學位獎學金申請表)
    PDF WORD
  • Transcript of the Previous Academic Year
  • Photocopy of Student ID Card (The photocopy should be stamped with the enrollment seal)

Important Notes

Selection Results: The result is scheduled to be released by email before the end of June. If there are awardees not eligible or giving up receiving the scholarship, we might notice the other applicants to fill the vacancy.

⚠️ Note for Sep 2025 – Aug 2026 Scholarship Awardees:

  • Annual Application: This scholarship is examined and issued every academic year. You have to file the application again as an NTUE current student if you would like to receive the scholarship for Sep 2026 – Aug 2027. The result will be released as mentioned above.
  • Service Requirement (72 hours): The awardees shall provide administrative assistance for at least 72 hours in the academic year. If you haven’t finished your 72 hours for the scholarship for Sep 2025 – Aug 2026, you can still submit the application. However, if you are selected to be the awardee again, you will need to finish the 72 hours for the previous year first to receive the scholarship for the new academic year.
