Directions for the Subsidy of Master's Students Attending International Conferences

These Directions are established to encourage graduate students of the Program to attend international conferences abroad and present papers in English, enhancing professional knowledge and technological understanding while promoting international academic exchange. Eligible students should refer to these Directions for application and reimbursement.
Key Operational Summary
- Eligibility & Principles: Limited to enrolled IMPLAI master's students; once per fiscal year; subsidized for one presenter per paper; presentations must be delivered in English. Conferences in Mainland China must be hosted or co-hosted by international organizations.
- Subsidized Items & Caps: Subsidizes airfare, living expenses (presentation day plus one day before and after), and registration fees. Maximum amounts: Europe/Africa/Central & South America NT$20,000; North America NT$15,000; Asia-Pacific region NT$10,000.
- Timeline & Reimbursement: Applications must be submitted at least 2 months prior to the conference date (excluding holidays). Reimbursement documents must be submitted within 1 month after the conference (within the same fiscal year).
- Language Precedence: In the event of any discrepancies between the Chinese and English versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
