Empowering Global Citizens Introduction
2026年2月7日至22日，國立臺北教育大學（NTUE）與台灣全球公民教育中心（GCED Taiwan）的國際青年代表團，受邀前往捷克索別斯拉夫市（Soběslav）的科門斯基 20 國民小學，展開為期兩週的國際教育工作坊。本次代表團匯集了來自台灣、蒙古、菲律賓、越南、巴拉圭及美國的優秀青年。這不僅是一場跨國教學合作，更是該校首度迎接如此多元的洲際交流團隊。
From February 7 to 22, 2026, an international youth delegation from the National Taipei University of Education (NTUE) and GCED Taiwan was invited to Základní škola Soběslav, Komenského 20 in the Czech Republic for a two-week International Education Workshop. The delegation brought together outstanding youths from Taiwan, Mongolia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Paraguay, and the USA. This marks a historic milestone as the school's first-ever cross-continental exchange of this scale.

工作坊以全英語進行，課程涵蓋全球環境與社會議題的探討。在密集的課程互動中，捷克學生們成功跨越語言障礙，透過小組合作提出了改善在地環境與人際關係的實質專案。同時，國際講師們也深度體驗了捷克在地文化—包含參訪教堂鐘樓、體驗冰上曲棍球與週末的布拉格之旅，締造了雙向的文化啟發與深度的國民外交。
Conducted entirely in English, the workshop explored global environmental and social issues. During these intensive interactive sessions, Czech students successfully overcame language barriers, collaborating on hands-on projects to improve their local environment and interpersonal relationships. Meanwhile, the international lecturers deeply immersed themselves in Czech culture—visiting the church tower, experiencing ice hockey, and enjoying a weekend trip to Prague—fostering profound two-way cultural diplomacy.

Kemp s názvem GCED s tematikou globálních problémů vedou studenti z univerzity v Taiwanu i se svými učiteli. Celodenní výuka probíhá v anglickém jazyce a obsahuje nejen teoretické představení globálních problémů, ale také skupinové aktivity a tvorbu projektů.
Lektoři také žákům představili země, ze kterých pocházejí. Kromě Taiwanu to byly Paraguay, Mongolsko, Filipíny, Vietnam a USA. Jsme jedinou školou v Evropě, kterou tento tým navštívil.
Pro žáky to is skvělá příležitost seznámit se s odlišnými kulturami a hlavně mluvit anglicky. Zjistili, že rozumí a jsou i schopni se anglicky domluvit.

The GCED camp, focusing on global issues, is led by university students from Taiwan alongside their teachers. The full-day instruction is conducted in English and includes not only theoretical introductions to global issues but also group activities and project creation.
The lecturers introduced the students to their home countries. Besides Taiwan, these included Paraguay, Mongolia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and the USA. We are the only school in Europe visited by this team.
For the students, it is a great opportunity to learn about different cultures and, most importantly, to speak English. They discovered that they understand and are fully capable of communicating in English.
