Establishment of the Committee
Purpose & Responsibilities Committee
The Committee is established to promote student off-campus professional internships. Key responsibilities include:
- Overall planning and promotion of internship courses.
- Confirming the selection of internship institutions.
- Drafting cooperative agreements and student internship plans.
- Handling complaints, disputes, and accidents.
- Safeguarding the rights and interests of interns.
Composition: 5 members, including the Program Director (convener), faculty, student representative, institution representative, and a legal expert.
Internship Implementation
Course & Credits Academic
The program offers off-campus internship courses in the second year to enhance practical competencies. 60 internship hours correspond to 1 academic credit.
Preparations Before Commencement
- Sign a standard internship agreement with the institution.
- Draft an Individualized Internship Plan (advisor, institution, and student).
- Arrange student insurance coverage.
- Attend the Pre-internship Briefing and Safety Training.
Selection & Evaluation
Institution Selection
Institutions must be government-registered and align with the program's goals. A compliance check via the Ministry of Labor is required to ensure no violations in the past 3 years.
Evaluation Criteria
- Faculty Supervision: Site visits at least once every three months.
- Performance Review: Joint evaluation by the supervising faculty and the institution.
- Outcome: Submission of an Internship Report within two weeks after completion.
