Scholarship for International Students
Overview
- Eligibility: New international students and currently enrolled international students.
- Award Period: September through the following August annually.
- Amount/Quota: NT$ 4,000 – 6,000 per month (flexible allocation based on budget and applicant numbers).
Application Method
New Students
Select "Yes" in the scholarship column of the Online Admission System and submit concurrently with admission application materials.
Enrolled Students
Submit the following hard-copy documents (refer to the application form for details):
- Scholarship Application Form (Please download the attachment).
- Official Transcript for the previous academic year.
- Photocopy of Student ID (The copy must be stamped with the current semester's registration seal).
Important Notes
Selection Results: Notifications will be sent via email by the end of June. If a recipient is disqualified or waives the award, waitlisted candidates will be notified accordingly.
Note for Scholarship Recipients:
- Annual Application: This scholarship is reviewed and awarded annually. If you are a new student recipient (September to August) and wish to receive it again, you must re-apply following the "enrolled student" procedure.
- Service Requirement: Recipients must complete 72 service hours during the award period. If you have not yet completed these hours, you may still apply. However, if selected for the new cycle, you must fulfill the outstanding hours from the previous period before the OIA will disburse the new scholarship funds.
