What are the graduation requirements?
Students must complete a minimum of 32 credits (including research methodology, core required courses, and specialized electives) and successfully write and defend a master's thesis to obtain a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree.

Are there scholarship opportunities available?
Yes. Multiple scholarship options are available for international degree-seeking students:
- NTUE University Scholarships: Includes the *International Student Scholarship* and *Outstanding Student Scholarship*. Detailed information is managed by the Office of Research and Development (R&D).
- Taiwan Scholarship (MOE / MOFA): Funded by government agencies, typically providing full/partial tuition waivers along with monthly living stipends.
Is the campus location convenient?
Yes, very convenient. NTUE is situated in the central educational and cultural district of Taipei (Da'an District):

- City Bus: The *National Taipei University of Education* bus stop is located right in front of the main campus gate with numerous bus routes connecting across the city.
Do you offer online or distance-learning classes?
No. In-person class attendance is required. All courses and interactive learning sessions are conducted on-site on the NTUE campus.
Can I enroll in the master's program as a part-time student?
No. Our program requires all enrolled students to be full-time students because all courses, seminars, and practical teaching sessions are scheduled during daytime weekday hours.
Can I work off-campus while studying?
Yes. Many of our students take on part-time teaching or educational consulting positions. However, all international students must obtain a valid Work Permit and strictly comply with the labor and immigration regulations of Taiwan.
What are the requirements for degree and transcript authentication?
In accordance with university enrollment regulations, your previous degree diploma and official academic transcripts must be officially authenticated by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) or the designated R.O.C. (Taiwan) overseas representative office in your home country prior to registration.
Can I teach in public schools in Taiwan after graduating?
It depends on your credentials and nationality requirements under Ministry of Education (MOE) regulations:
- With Teacher Certification: If you already hold a certified teacher's license from your home country, you may be hired as a full foreign English teacher in Taiwanese public schools upon graduation (e.g., through the *Taiwan Foreign English Teacher Program, TFETP*).
- Without Teacher Certification: Graduates without formal teaching certification may be eligible to serve as Foreign English Teaching Assistants (ETAs).
- Nationality Requirements: Applicants must meet the native English-speaking country criteria set forth by the Ministry of Education.
